“Been a customer for 20 years. Heritage is only a 35 min drive so it’s easy when I need something short notice, however I don’t much care for the collection point in the end of a corridor instead of the shop, but I understand the likely reasons due to Covid and so on, and the shop could be a little bit hit and miss at times anyway as you felt like you were taking staff away from their jobs behind the scenes. The range of items for different price points where available can be useful as repro stuff isn’t always the best quality. If I’m not in a rush I certainly look at the wider market, some specialist suppliers are better for some items than others, while it can also be useful to look at non-specialists as prices are often lower. It’s the price you pay to have the convenience of most things all in one place and easy to find. One thing that’s annoying is these poorly thought out surveys, for instance it asks how I communicated but I didn’t, I just filled in a web returns form, but there’s no option for that. Likewise it asks how quick was the response was, with options”
