Heritage has a huge inventory of hard to find parts for our aging VWs. I have placed a few orders and worked with the negional rep for the USA which have all gone smooth up until my last order. I placed an order for $350 for which I had paid nearly $200 in shipping to recieve. The shipping charge is understandable considering one of the items was oversized. I had been made aware of this charge and the fact that the item causing the high shipping charge was actually on backorder but due in stock in 10 days. I was asked if I wanted to ship the instock items now or all together when the last part arrived. For obvious reasons I opted to wait and ship all together. 10 days went by and I was advised the delay turned into another 2 weeks wait. I again opted to wait and ship everything together. A week or so later my order showed up without the oversized item. I attempted to check in with my rep with no response. After another week or so I reached out to Heritage directly and was told my parts were in stock again but I would have to pay another $120 in shipping to recieve them. I was advised my rep was no longer with the company and even though I had email conversations of what was clearly outlined to be done, I was denied any consideration or compensation towards the additional $120 shipping charges on a $75 part. After many more exchanged emails expressing frustrations I eventually had to cave and pay heavily for their mistake. Will I order from heritage again? Yes, if they are the only company with a part I need and I will again have no choice. Beyond that I will be seeking out other suppliers.

The great postage part was the wrong part, was hard to identify on the website the correct hose

Vor acht Wochen Artikel bestellt, einen Teil erhalten obwohl alles als lieferbar auf der Seite war. Nach vier Wochen nach Anfrage von mir Bescheid bekommen das der Artikel erst wieder in vier Wochen lieferbar ist. Kann leider nichts zum Material sagen da es noch nicht angekommen ist!

Ich entschuldige mich für die Verzögerung bei Ihrer Bestellung, ich sehe, dass wir zwei von drei bestellten Teilen geliefert haben. Ich kann mich nur dafür entschuldigen, dass unsere Lagerbestände für den noch ausstehenden Artikel nicht so gut sind, wie sie sein könnten.

The Heritage Website is not perfect so often a telephone call is needed, sadly somebody made the decision to stop answering calls. For this reason alone I would look elsewhere for future parts needed (unless this decision is reverted).

Nothing wrong with the parts, or the time it took to get from the UK to Australia, but an eye-watering freight price for some things which were very small and light, far more than I am used to

Hi Paul Thanks for the feedback, we are sorry about the shipping costs. We are constantly looking for alternative providers to drive down shipping costs, unfortunately to be able to provide a speedy and reliable service cost can sometimes become troublesome.

Since you have decided to cease having human contact with your customers on the phone, I feel that you have made a catastrophic decision that will only speed your demise. Your range of products is vast, you are expecting the customer to have the same knowledge as your store people. Your website does not specify exactly which part is suitable for which vehicle. Your universal fuel tank sender indicates that it is suitable for the MK1 Caddy, it is not suitable for my MK1 Caddy. A phone conversation may well have saved me a great deal of time and heartache. I would imagine that I am not the only senior surfer who has had this problem, I would also suggest that the vast majority of the owners of the older VW vehicles are approaching pension age as opposed to having just left school. I feel that you could do so much better by accepting that for millenniums customers have been talking to suppliers and not writing the customers letter or notes. Waiting for someone to email you back with an answer from an enquiry is adopting a similar attitude to questions that most politicians adhere to in the hope that the questioner will fade away, or even better pass away, and thereby save you the bother of doing anything.

Hi Brian Sorry to hear of your frustration. I can see that there have been many emails from you to our support team regarding correct parts to fit and they have been in contact to advise, sadly we are not 24-7 and operate in UK business hours (which was also the case with the phone lines) so in this instance my colleague replied at 5:42pm with an answer to your question but you purchased the item in the meantime. The information regarding the fact that the part you ordered does not work with the original sender is also displayed on the product page and we gave the part number of the correct part to purchase. I do apologise for your experience in this instance, but I can see our team have replied in good time and done what they can to assist.

I had problems with your web site while ordering, it jumped from putting in card details straight to paying, not allowing me to add a 20% discount code.Messaged your office and was told nothing they could do. Un helpful. Will never use you again.

Hi Martin Sorry to hear of your issues, I can see my colleagues have been in contact with you regarding your request for a change of address after the order had been placed. I am sorry but we cannot retrospectively apply discounts if the code hasn't been entered to the order.

parts sizes should be shown on web pages---my radiator had no such measurements--consequently I bought the wrong size

Awful that you have no phone line or shop .... People that give you the parts don't care and have no manners Customer service AWFUL BRING BACK THE PHONE LINES AND SHOP !!! it's half the reason people came too heritage

I ordered a set of FRONT disc pads, and I got rear, that are the wrong size. I ordered a pair of shocks 6 weeks ago. So, at the moment, I am having the hassle of sending the wrong parts back and unable to test the front suspension properly. This is setting my project back a bit.
