“Good quality articles, I find most of the time all parts for my mk1 cab and mk2. Speedy delivery even if articles are not in stock. I can not complain for that. Unfortunately the shipment costs are totally unfair if delivered in Switzerland. Shipment cost increase based on the number of articles you add in your cart. I had to pay 42€ for a standard package size of not even 2kg weight. Competitors manage to keep the shipment cost more down. I shared this to their customer support, and in other words they do not care much about it. This is what actually make me changing my minds about Heritage Parts and explain this 3 stars rate given.”

“I've done much business with VW Heritage over the years. My vehicles are 1977 Bay and 1996 South African Caravelle. Delivery has always been good. I'm sad that they no longer take phone calls as I used to find this useful if I was uncertain about a part. Just recently I bought new rear lights for the Bay which I was assured were of good quality. They weren't. Quite honestly I should've sent them back but persevered to the extent that I paid a skilled classic renovation engineer a lot of money to fit them so they would work. Very disappointing. Will I buy from VW Heritage again? Maybe. I don't know at the moment.”

“Getting badgered to leave a review. My experience has certainly widened my search for parts. I made a purchase which turned out to be incorrect due to a misrepresentation that still hasn't been fixed. A windscreen seal has a price and the option to add to basket which I did. Turns out it is per metre, if I had clicked on the first image I would have seen it was per metre. question, who would buy 1 metre of windscreen seal? , why wasn't it queried? It was part of a larger order which include a door seal, not per metre but a seal for a door. I was offered 5% discount on my next order so close to a £90 spend would cover it. Maybe an acknowledgement the ad was misleading and the money refunded would have been the honourable thing to do, small cost so no big deal, but it is. So, probably will buy again but definitely will check other sources and advise others to do the same”

“Expensive to shop for small items like oil seals and the like, up to 50 per cent postage on top. Best to place a bulk parts order. Have a look on EBay as they sell items there often at nil postage.”

“Lots of really good parts- but also quite a few low quality parts from China. It used to be easy to find out by talking to someone in the know over the phone and getting some great advice. Now that the phone service has been discontinued, it’s a bit of a lottery- which is a such a shame. Have unfortunately ordered some not so great quality parts recently as they all look the same from the pictures! That’s progress I guess!? Why does this surgery have telephone as an option when it’s not available Also goes from 12 hours to return a message to over a week- nothing in between?! Such a terrible survey”

“It's great to be able to get so many parts for my vw but what let's you down is there is no contact number to talk about parts etc. I know you have Web chat but this slows down the buying process drastically.”

“Good quality products but it is very inconvenient that you have no real customer service that you can phone up and talk to someone to discuss what part you need. Sometimes I don't use heritage parts because I need to talk to a real person, so I use euro parts of GSF. If I could phone up and talk to someone I would use heritage more.”
