This was on track for a 5 star review--selection, quality, price, speed--but it got ambushed by the US tariff situation. So you ask, how is a US imposed tariff a Heritage Parts Centre problem? The country of origin is not clearly identified in the Heritage web listings. So points-off to Heritage in this new world of Global Trade Wreckage by US MAGA/Trump. My $62.75 USD order was charged $94.48 by UPS and their 'Customs Broker'. (This in addition to the $53.24 shipping to get it here.) I will not be paying this 'Customs charge' so I will likely never see these parts and $116 order total is down the drain. Yes, I should have inquired as to the country of origin, but I (stupidly) took it on faith that parts from a German company (Hella) and a German aftermarket supplier (Forst) would at least be EU or UK origin and subject to the de-minimis exemption. Turns out the Forst parts (the bulk of the cost) were Chinese, for which Trump in his China grievance removed de-minimis. My advice to Heritage: Put the country of origin on your listings--and tariff warnings in big red letters--or else shut down service to USA customers until the US gets its head out of the sand (or wherever it is currently stuck). It will preserve your dignity--and spare our frustration.

Buongiorno, ho ricevuto i ricambi, ma con grande rammarico non gli ho potuti utilizzare perchè non erano quelli giusti, perchè sul sito sono riportate informazioni sbagliate, in cui si dichiara che sono utilizzabili per diversi tipi di Golf compresa quella di mia proprietà che è una Golf Cabrio Karmann di novembre 1989. Purtroppo non sono utilizzabili e aggiungo vi suggerisco di utilizzare altro corriere che non sia DHL. Ho speso quasi 50€.e non so cosa fare di questiricambi. Vi saluto cordialmente. First of all, there should an information, that thermo mats can not be used instant after unboxing because of its smell- metallic and disgusting. Not sure is it health inactive. It need to be well aired out before use. Secondly had permanent problems with suction cups espacially rear window. Side windows as well. Didn't know the reason and it was very annoying. It is hard to say about quality after one (4 days long) use, but it seems to be quite good. Sorry to say that, but at this moment only two stars rate from me. I hope it geting better in the future. Die Saugnäpfe sind zu weit weg vom Rand, so dass immernoch die Sonne rein scheint und eine Öse ist schon beim ersten Gebrauch ausgerissen. Ich hätte mir die Qualität besser vorgestellt, für diesen Preis

After phoning in for advice on which part number I needed, it was still wrong. No blame laid as it's a tricky business! I had driven an hour to get there only to find out you have closed the shop! Sat in the carpark and arranged the click and collect on my phone, then waited an hour for the processing rushed through by a kind staff member. As it's only click and collect now, you are not normally allowed to return parts if they are incorrect! (What numb nut came up with that idea?) But luckily for me a quick thinking member of staff managed to sort it out for me there and then and saved the day! Why did you ever close the shop?! You are VW Heritage. Have you no pride in what you do anymore?? Why does business always have to be a race to the bottom these days! It's pathetic.

HI Dominic, thank you for your review and we're glad our team where able to help you on the day. Our shop has been closed for over four years now: but we do offer online or phone assistance for part selection and click and collect for orders at our warehouse. We took the tough decision to close the shop post-covid when demand for shop facilities from our customers took a downturn.

Purchased door handles do not work to lock the car. Opening the door is fine with the handles, but the locking mechanism in the handle does NOT reach the mechanism in the door so you are unable to lock it.

Hi David, sorry to hear this. We have looked into your order and apologise for any confusion, we do still list put of stock products as available to buy on our website so that customers can be assured that however long the lead time, the part will be sent to them as soon as it is back in stock.

Ordering is easy and efficient. Returns is not so easy, need to put in your account number which does not appear to be visible on web site when signed in or any invoices?? Of course you could try to call but they have tech support who finish at midday and no other obvious number to call. Such a shame for what was a great company to deal with.

I was very pleaseed with the parts I ordered once they were delivered. My low score is driven by poor delivery timescales. My original order was never delivered and only after several requests to find out when it was going to be delivered was a new order issued and delivered very quickly.

The rev counter didnt come with any instructions on wiring it up, for £150+ it feels cheap, and as for the speedo cable, once fitted, that didnt get to the end of the road when the end of the cable on the wheel end, just came off, the cable is ok and the square drive end is ok, it just slid off, it wasnt even attached to the cable. I know you have to trade with what ever parts you can source but come on, this isnt funny anymore.

Definitely not a 5 star service. Order was confirmed then nothing. I had to contact you to see where my order was. Foolishly, I made another order this Monday at 09:00. Same thing; order confirmation then nothing. What is the excuse this time? For the second time in two weeks, where's my order, please? It was just so much better and easier when I could phone up and order over the telephone. A much better service in those days.

Habe Verdunklungsmatten für meinen VW Bus bestellt, auf der Webseite wird mit man 5€ Rabatt gelockt, wenn man den Newsletter abonniert. Leider konnte ich den Gutschein beim bezahlen aber nicht einlösen. Außerdem wurden mir sogar 5€ Expressgebühren draufgeschlagen…Bei Nachfrage hieß es nur, dass anders keine Bestellung nach Deutschland möglich wäre. Schon sehr unbefriedigend.
