“While VW heritage is always a source for original VW parts and many aftermarket replacements in acceptable quality, it has it's flaws. The availability on the website is quite often incorrect. On several occasions my deliveries were missing crucial bits I then had to wait for and sometimes I had to find creative solutions because the system told me "out of stock" only to find that they had plenty of it and I could have had it a few days later. However, since they are very willing to help over the phone, normally a partial cancellation, free split delivery and so on are always possible. So all in all I'd say excellent for "business behaviour", less than average for website functionality with regard to stock levels.”

“Good product, slightly smaller than the original Devon seals, however, using the chrome inserts supplied, which are larger than the rubber inserts, (also supplied) , pads them out perfectly. The chrome inserts were OE on the Devon anyway.”

“I like vwheritage, you seem to sell good quality items at reasonible prices, and the % discount sales make me come to you rather than anywhere else. The only problem i have found, when i email a query about parts or advise i dont often get a response.”

“I was very happy initially although after noticing a part was missing from my order and it subsequently taking a further 3 weeks (and several phone calls to organise this) I felt significantly less pleased. Overall, I would use VW Heritage again but be mindful of the delays and lack of correspondence.”

“The ability to find rare parts by using the database of official part numbers is an absolute treat to use. Popping in a part number for a 30year old Mk2 Polo Bodykit, and then having it found and delivered, is a seamless feature that VW Heritage should be very proud of! My only suggested improvement would be to expand the selection of cars on the main page to include the likes of Polo's, rather than just the big hitting Golf/Camper vehicles... Most of the parts are shared, specifically the engines, so it would be nice to confidently buy a ' Contact Breaker Point' for my Mk2 Polo Saloon, rather than buying one for a Golf with the same engine code and hoping /assuming its the same part.”

“i ordered some parts in March, chased in April and again in May only to be told one of the parts was out of stock and wouldn't be in stock until August !! - would have been nice to have known this . Other than this - my other experiences have been good, but the poor customer service tends to stick out more than the good. Order is WEB160315347675-PP if you would like to check.”

“easy to use web site, responsive to problems, carrying many but not all classic vw parts. As one of the chief promoters of classic parts I am slightly miffed that I had to buy my part from USA.”
