Something has changed on your website recently, I have lost some of my previous order history... but most annoyingly all of your WAS prices on your product list pages appear to be a far better price than I was charged online. I needed some items so I took the hit and placed the order anyway but don't think I'll be shopping with you again :-( not be best of online experiences unfortunately!

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, our website has changed recently and some order history is not accessible at the moment. Unfortunately prices can and do change which may explain the price differences you have experienced.

Paid extra for next day delivery to come Saturday but did not arrive until Monday afternoon. Received my order confirmation email at 11.15am Friday morning which should give enough time to organise for next day. Products were good.

Thanks for taking the time to review. I can see you placed your order on a Friday and opted for the next working day service, which was indeed Monday. We also offer a Saturday delivery for an extra fee if required.

Purchased some items a month ago, 2 of them were carb kits that don't fit rang them a few time now still not resolved, feel disappointed

I ordered the items on the Tuesday with a Thursday delivery given. Waited in Thursday, Friday and now Saturday and they haven't arrived. I've recieved no correspondence to tell me they wouldn't arrive when stated.

Ordered an item that was out of stock on 19/05. Website stated that it would be back in stock within a week so I went ahead with the order. Over a month later still waiting for order so contacted VW Heritage who then advised it was in stock and ready for dispatch. On checking with other retailers found the same product half the price that VW heritage were offering it for. Not happy. Cancelled the part of order I had been waiting a month for. No contact by VW Heritage during this month period.

It looks like your order was a Web Order which is obviously automated with no manual intervention? When you place an order there is a next working day Express option if items are needed rapidly. The Free Of Charge option that you took is via Royal Mail and not a rapid service.

The service from Vw Heritage was good, but the quality of the Mirrors I received was very poor.

Thanks for taking the time to review us. It looks like one of the three items you ordered was out of stock at the time of ordering, sorry if that wasn't clear on the website as it does show stock levels as guidance.

Had put an order in for several items, one item the door seal for VW t2 was out of stock but back in stock in one week, waited 2 weeks no delivery, so emailed them to enquire about item, turned out item had been in stock a week, I expected as you already had my payment details thst it would be sent out straight away, not me chasing VW heritage up on a part I'd ordered, I find this pretty poor, no such problems with just campers tho which I've always used but fancied a change

Thanks for taking the time to add a review. I can see your order was split as two FOC carriage consignments. I can see there was an approx. 5 day delay in sending you the one missing door seal, from when it arrived in stock and allocated to your order. I hope this doesn't put you off using VW Heritage in future.

Would be 5 stars, save for a simple thing. Ordered my parts, some were out of stock so needed to be backordered. It only let me pay for the stuff that was in stock, fair enough. Problem was that there wasn't an email notifying me that the parts had come into stock, so eventually after hearing nothing for about 4 weeks I rang up, after which I was informed that all my stuff was in stock and I needed to pay the balance, which I then did (call staff were very helpful so no complaints there!) So to summarise, an email needs to be sent out to notify that stock has come in with a link to settle the balance. Otherwise excellent

Thanks for the review. I can see you ordered 4 items, 3 of which are special orders from Classic Parts in Germany, these Classic Parts we take payment in full for. The other item was again a back order part, but more of a stock line that we don't take payment for until it arrives. It looks like you pre-empted us with your call to check the arrival of the part and we would have sent you an email to tell you it had arrived and the balance payment options, either Credit Card or Pay Pal.

Having made an order I received no communication at all regarding estimated delivery dates. The only way I found out was by telephoning to be told the classic parts take longer. I then received no further communication until an email requesting final payment for one part. A quick note would have helped. Disappointed.

Thanks for taking the time to review and sorry about the confusion with delivery dates. At the point of ordering it does specify items ordered from Classic Parts normally take 2-3 weeks to arrive, but can take a little longer depending on which one of the many warehouses the item is located in. We are very fortunate to still be able to obtain some hard to find items, but getting them can take time.

Thanks for taking the time to review us. Apologies the item took so long to arrive. It looks like the delay was a combination of a 4 week delivery time from our supplier and the Christmas break. Again many apologies for the timescale involved.

After trying to contact on a Saturday morning when open but not able to talk to anyone as only an automated phone service. I then purchased item that i needed quickly and paid an additional £6 carriage for next day delivery. After still not receiving my item late on Monday i contacted them to be told it would be the following day! I queried the point of paying for next day as stated on their website if order placed before 3.oopm it will be posted the same day. And standard free delivery is 2-3 days so what have i paid additional fee for, to be told i would be credited the £6 as it was misleading. Still not received credit so will never use company again

Thanks for the review. Sorry it wasn't clear on the website, but none of our couriers collect from us on a Saturday. Your order was processed on the Monday and delivered as a next working day on the Tuesday. I can see the credit for the Express charge has been processed and should appear on your account shortly.

Ordered a coolant hose for my mk1 caddy, hose was short, having no luck getting a replacement sent out or returning hose, what to do?

Need to up their game, other supplies keep you much better up to date with your transaction. All I got was a order confirmed email saying delivery 2-3. 4 days later the parts turn up the day after my day off. One of the competitors email when the parts have been picked and when they have been dispatched and their free delivery is often next day at no extra charge.

Apologies your order took so long to arrive? Your order was processed on the day of purchase and sent the same day. Smaller orders tend to go via Royal Mail parcel post to keep the postage price down, this can take longer than we would like sometimes. We also offer a courier service if parts are needed next working day. If an item doesn't arrive, we will of course send a replacement and make a claim with our despatch service. Apologies again for the very slow delivery on your last order.

ordered spare parts on a Thursday morning and they never arrived until Tuesday. was told by your parts department they would be arriving on monday.

Thanks for taking the trouble to review us. It looks like this order was placed via the Website on Thursday evening at approx. 8.45pm? The Free Carriage option you used is a 2-3 working day service, I'm sorry the order didn't arrive as quickly as predicted.

After placeing my order,things seemed to go quiet for a few days. I Then phoned to be told the order was in progress and would be dispatched the end of the week. Nothing arrived on the Monday. Phoned again to be told call again an Wednesday? Phoned again Wednesday and finally spoke to a very helpful young lady who seemed to get things moving. She has kept me informed of its progress and hopefully it should arrive today. Also a few weeks ago I telephoned sales to try to order a centre jacking point for my bay window bus. The person I spoke to seemed very impatient with me as I was not sure of the part number. I was therefore obliged to order the item elsewhere. Sorry to be a moaner but over the years of dealing with the company somthing seemed wrong to me, Mr John Meekcoms.

Sadly the fit wasnt great. The manifold is too long before the first bend meaning in rests on the steering box gaiter. It will be an expensive process to remove, shorten, re-weld and re-fit.

The lack of any order status display badly lets down the ordering experience. I ordered an item showing in stock - a month later, I rang up to see where it was and my order seemed to be in limbo. Stock was reallocated from somewhere else and I received it the next day. I feel if I hadn't chased it, I would never have got it. If you could check the status of the order online it would go some way to improving the service I think.
