“They said they would not charge my paypal account until the shipping had been sorted, but they did anyway and the shipping was too much, so they refunded the GBP amount but paypal took $150 off me for currency conversion charges so I had to pay for nothing! Dont use the online store just e-mail them what you want and get them to quote the shipping first.”

Thanks for taking the time to review. We have checked the order you placed via the web and a shipping price was generated automatically when you put the order together. This would have given you a complete total inc. shipping For you to either approve or reject. At this stage we can see you did decide to go ahead and pay via PayPal. We are not sure quite why PayPal have decided to charge you such a large amount for the transaction? We obviously have no control over this and it’s a question that would need to be broached with PayPal themselves.

“Place an Order on 1st of August (order number #WEBX01817531340) felt the need to phone VW Heritage today 04/08/2017, only to find out that part of my order was out of stock !(Backorder) Disappointed no one could be bothered to pick up the phone to tell us other wise...”

“The packaging of my item was terrible with the main threaded part of the brake cable sticking through the box. The cardboard packaging was enough to transport twenty cables but due to bad packaging it was very lucky the threaded end of the cable was only slightly damaged. More care should be taken at the packaging stage of the process”

Thanks for the feedback. I can guarantee that the goods wouldn't have been sent out from us in the way you have described and received them. We can only assume the packaging has been damaged in transit. Many apologies for the problems experienced.

“Paid £12 for Saturday delivery to a garage which was to come between 6pm-7pm - not sure what garages you know that are open to that time through the week never mind a Saturday. Requested it to be delivered then to my work told it would be but it wasn't so still don't have it - waste of £12”

“Disappointed that you have for sale parts that are not in stock with no restocking date. Maybe it's best not to offer these items for sale. Especially when you withhold shipment of other items pending their arrival. Disappointed that I didn't hear back from you for over a month and when I did a week went past with no email reply. Disappointed that 7 weeks have gone by and I still don't have my items. I am happy with the interactions I had with staff in the last week.”

Thanks for the review. I can see you placed the order at just after 6.00pm on the Thursday, just after we had closed missing the despatch for that day. It was processed on the Friday when we re-opened and put on a next working day service for delivery Monday. We do also offer a Saturday delivery service if items are needed by the weekend.

“Delivery time for orders is still poor. I try not to order from VW Heritage anymore because of this. Delivery time for similar suppliers is at the latest 2 days.”

We do have an option for Next Working Day Delivery for goods that are required very quickly. Smaller orders are sent via Royal Mail taking typically 2-3 days to arrive.

“9 days post order and still waiting.......... No tracking facility provided in confirmation email so no idea where the order is or when to expect it. Had same experience previously and thought I would give these people another try. Not as good as others really.”

Thanks for taking the time to review us. Just checking into this it looks like your address is what's known as 'the outlying areas' by the couriers. This means delivery takes approx. 2 days longer as the consignment is handed over to a 'third party' by the Australian couriers.

“Ordered fuel pump for mk1 gti golf I phoned to check if the pump came with copper O rings and was advised it did. On receiving the pump there were no O rings. Phoned to order but advised no longer available. I then had to contact several other suppliers to obtain the O rings. This has caused the delay in fitting and additional cost.”

“The steering wheel that was ordered based on the information on the website and the main header details, does not fit. It states suitable for T25. There are no Boss available either to connect it. This was purchased in good faith and is not as advertised so I will need to return it. I am very disappointed as this was a gift. Is there a return reference number for posting?”

“VWH were supposed to have emailed me when an out of stock product was back in stock. No body did and only by chance two weeks later when checking the website I found they had restocked the item but why wasn't I sent an email?”

“I'll be honest. £8.00 shipping on an £18.90 item about the size and weight of a couple of bits of lego left a bad taste in my mouth, but the reviews bode well for the quality of the item. What Paruzzi had to offer looks like the same junk already fitted to my buggy, so I'm hoping this will improve it.”
