Brought from shop not online, the shop experience was a very slow process, no one serving, then couldn't find the item, then computer/payment issues the guy serving did his best but obviously wasn't used to working the shop. As for the part, it represents good value for money but no fitting instructions and the front edge contour (sits against mirror base) isn't correct. Had to use the Dremel to re-contour.

Thanks for taking the time to review us. Apologies your shop experience wasn't as good as we would like. I think you may well have been served by a relatively new member of staff, who was still finding his feet. I've had a talk with our product department and they haven't had any other fit issues with the Wind Deflectors?

Both my items were delivered really quickly. The gear stick extender for my t4 has a locking allen screw which is so long it stops the rubber gear stick gaiter from seating properly. I ordered the black eight ball universal gear knob, unfortunately, my van is done on a black and white theme, which is why I ordered the eight ball gear knob, which when it arrived was black and yellow. Neadless to say I have cut down the locking allen screw for the gear stick extender. And have replaced the black and yellow eightball gear knob with a black and white one.

web site said a week wait, actual wait 4 weeks, placed order but didn't pay and missed contact from you so had to phone a place order again. more effort in contacting customer and clearer explanation on how goods are sent when on backorder ie goods automatically sent if paid for upfront.

Previous Beetle door mirror had black surround to glass, description did not say "white" and not apparent from image. Same applies to mounting collar which is also too soft and does not stay right side of locating rim. Perhaps I need to have the separate item 111857543, but then again I tried to use my old black collar but it was too big.

Track rod end came without reverse thread nut they always come with courier could not follow the massive sign on the front door to leave it in the garage instead bothering my neighbours NOT HAPPY!!!

I needed some parts for my mk2 golf gti for its mot. I paid for the parts one part turned up on time, the other part took nearly a month to arrive. I ended up with twice the outlay for work to be carried out on the car. The compensation I was offered was £1 off a left hand wheel arch and free delivery on another order. When I asked why the right hand wheel arch hadn't been delivered I was told the one in stock was damaged but there was another one available if I wanted it? Forgive me, but "if I wanted it". I'd paid for the wheel arch, of cause I blummin wanted it.

Really sorry about the problems and confusion regarding your order. I can see the outstanding item was sent approx. 2 weeks after you had ordered it. We have also added discount to your order for future purchases, if you chose to use us again. We do try our best to not make errors, but sometimes we do make mistakes. Apologies again.

Phoned & spoke with a sales person as I could not see the part I was after on the website. Looking for a large bore/flange header to fit a '73 Bay Window. Advised of which part to order. Before ordering checked the website again & noticed that this said it would not fit my van. Phoned again & was told to order something else which I did. This did not fit & turned out to be totally the wrong part, not even for van but a car system!!!!! Ordered another header from one of you competitors after speaking to them again by telephone. When this arrived it not only had one of their parts number stickers but also one of yours. the point being why could your guy advise me of this part to save me waiting an additional 7 days before I could use my van.

Sorry if there was any confusion over the exhaust they recommended for your bus. Looking into this for you, we can see a return has been implemented for this part

Despite checking thoroughly, the heater channel ordered for the specific year of my car arrived and the garage discovered that it was completely the wrong shape and didn't fit. Even a bit of creative cutting from the garage couldn't make it fit. A Shame really because I would have expected better from a "genuine VW" part.

Bought an inlet manifold for a 1600 air cooled AS engine and found it to be very poor quality. After many hours of reshaping and grinding away most of it, it sort of fits, but I have no confidence in it. I only use your company because I am (was) sure that you only stock quality parts and leave the inferior stuff to the GSFs of this world. Disappointing.

Vw heritage experience was fine but product bought (t25 wing mirrors) were overpriced and vey poor quality. Ended up gave to source some originals second hand so shelled out twice! Old ones far superior.

Hi, Apologies for the problems encountered. T25 mirrors are now only available as a reproduction items. The genuine mirror would be a superior product if available new. We will happily have the items back for a refund if required.

I wanted to purchase a set of drive shafts to convert a bus to an IRS. For this conversion you need an inboard bug CV joint and an outboard bus CV joint, but the only option is to buy the drive shafts complete with 2 bus CV joints. I asked if I could exchange the unwanted CV joint, but was told no, they couldn't be split, so I now have £80 of CV joints I can't use. I asked what could I do with them and it was suggested I might try to sell them. A terrible customer service that would make me think before making any large item purchases through VWH. Whereas my proposal wouldn't in fact have cost them.

Hi, Our Type 2 CV joints and axles come complete from our supplier. Understandably we are unable to take back part items for part refunds. The suggestion of selling the surplus parts on was a reasonable suggestion.

I was dissapointed of my last order,becouse was a delay about my order,and nobady could inform me how is my parcell gonna arrive. I was the one who called your company to get some info... I'm not sure i will make any purcase in the future from VWheritage! thanks, Daniel

Overall I have been impressed with Heritage in the past. However recently I was allowed to purchase an item that showed in stock but it turned out that it wasn't. I wasn't informed of this and I was left waiting for two weeks to before I finally chased it up to be told this. I took another 2 weeks on top for it to arrive and I was left half way through a job for over a month. Not impressed.

1) Item was particularly expensive relative to similar VW coolant hoses. 2) Item delivery was slow, taking 32 days from placement of order on 4th April and delivery on 6th May 2015. Hope this assists in your customer support. Rob Hannah.

Hi Robin, This item was a special order item from Classic Parts in Germany which can take approximately 2 – 3 weeks to arrive. Items held at their other warehouses can take a little longer to deliver.

Ordered some parts in March 2015, to be told they would be in-stock within 2 weeks, after numerous phone calls and 8 weeks later, I finally cancelled the order, only then to be told the item is discontinued.

Customer service sucks, no communication, it's a Joak when you have to phone up to check on orders only to find out it's going to take amother 8 weeks for the product you ordered 6 weeks before. If your resto project relies on parts this is totally unacceptable.

If it's not already out of stock and you actually manage to buy then it will either be a crappy reproduction or arrive damaged.

Hi Henry, Sadly many items available for the Mk1 Golf are now only obtainable as reproduction items. Obviously if anything arrives damaged, we will replace it.

Was told that a part had been delivered (essential for my build), only to find out a couple of weeks later that it had never been sent, due to it being discontinued. Very frustrating.
