“Dauerte lange bis der Heckgepäckträger für meinen VW Käfer angekommen ist,circa 10 Tage.Leider war keine Mpntageanleitung dabei .Mit ner Anleitung hätte ich mir den Einbau nicht selbst erschliessen müssem.”

“The ordering, information, confirmation of order and delivery is excellent. While I appreciate the items bought were at a significant dicscount and clearly old stock, sadly I have marked you down a little as the panels have suffered miss-handling, and not in transit!”

“Heritage parts supply good quality parts and you have a question it gets response within 24 hours . However I personally have experienced issues . One was a fly wheel main seal , I must have waited 15 Weeks with no updates when it would be delivered. The next issue is again an out of stock part , to date no update whatsoever when this part will be delivered. I am sure Heritage parts could give updates on a regular basis . Kind regards Paul Howard”

“Habe einen Lichtschalter für Typ 3 gekauft, das die alte Befestigungsrädelschraube nicht mehr passt, Hätte vorgeschlagen werden. Die Kunststoff-Kappe für den Bremsflüssigkeitsbehälter war verbogen und passt daher nicht.. Schrott. Es geht besser”

“My overall experience was positive. The items arrived in good condition and were as expected. However, the communication could have been better. I was not informed in a timely manner that some of the items were out of stock, and the delivery dates were not clearly communicated. Improving this aspect would make the process much more transparent. Other than that, everything went well”

“Everything was going according to plan with the mk4 rear caliper upgrade swap, however, it is never plug n play. The mK2 brake hard line would not reach the mk4 brake line wasn’t long enough. We could either switch to mk3 hardlines or get a 1999 Passat rear break line to connect to the mk2 hard line. There was extra brake line slack. Luckily, I’m going to upgrade to MK3 the hardlines in order to go stainless steel with the lines provided by VW heritage.”

“So what fishing for 5 stars means to me was everything was perfect. The item is good especially for the price with delivery, but I can't say it's 5 as in the photo I included show the packing as pritty dia, yes it's and exhaust. Quite big and cumbersome, however it was placed in a box it. I never knew they did them this big but wa swas toekenistic as the one that was found and came in was still a wee bit short. some feedback to the packing people needs to be made, I would say they have comedy value, as they did place a tokenistic paper floating around in the box. Maybe packing to protect, yes They did put it in a box, but I guess I was expecting maybe so padding at key points like each end to pad it from damage whilst the poor delivery guy was dragging the huge item in and out of van. Because it is unliftable in this box.”

“Ordered the parts and the delivery was very prompt and efficient. Unfortunately, they didn't fit together due to one or the other having differing threads. The returns process was again very efficient and easy, but then the wheels came off. The credit note wasn't forthcoming and it isn't possible to speak to anyone you have to email, which is really annoying and should be available for a company of this size.”

“I ordered the alternator belt for my T25 1.6TD as per listed on the website but was too small(10×875) so had to get the larger one (10×900) . I got the parts very quickly but dont go by what the website says , I think the one I got was for a polo”

“There was some impact damage to the rear bush housing of the wishbone supplied. Not wanting to wait longer I decded it would not affect function so fitted it anyway. The point is that as the packaging was undamaged, this item must have been packed damaged, so a failing of inspection somewhere. This does not put me off using Heritage in the future, and I hope it's just a one-off! Otherwise all parts fitted ok.”
