The parts are fine, have been using Heritage for over 30 years and spent thousands with them. Their current partnership with DHL leave a little to be desired a standard delivery took over a week from time of order. Heritage did very little to aid the situation all rather disappointing.

My name is Adam Coleman Hi I ordered 2 mirrors for a Vw type 2 back last year. I got sent 2 right mirrors ( if you are looking at the van from the outside) and decided to keep both and order a left mirror. I then ordered what I thought was a left mirror and I got another right mirror I then questioned it and got a part number in consultation with you guys having sent over pictures of what I had already received for a left mirror and ordered it and I got another left mirror. I now have 3 left mirrors and no right mirror? I then asked through email could I send 2 of these back to you and get a right mirror and where do I send them and what is the process, over a week later I have heard nothing? I need to get this sorted and will do what I can to make it happen please reach out and let me know the process to sort it out please

A month after placing my order for supposedly in-stock items, I am still awaiting the dispatch of a distributor cap. My poor VW beetle is gamely struggling on but is in dire need. A lack of information about my order and its status is a further issue. Having used Heritage many times in the past with excellent service, this experience is not only painful but shockingly unexpected.

Desperately needed the part next fay as the customer was going on holiday.Paid the eye watering next day delivery and the part didn't turn up.Postage was refunded so all good in the end apart from.moaning customer

Item was very poorly packaged and damaged upon arrival. The whole process of trying to resolve the problem was painful... After sales service was extremely poor and communication on their part was awful.

Hi Keith Sorry your part got damaged in transit and sorry the collection was delayed. Sometimes things do go wrong but we do our utmost to fix them. I can see it's all been resolved now but apologies again hands up we dropped the ball.

Unfortunately the two parts now that you have sent me were both faulty and had to be specially up graded by a Vw specialist Terrys beetles. The water squirt yet again was permanently on. A different valve had to be put on . The parts are poorly made.

Once upon a time, Heritage was my go-to for anything Beetle or Bay. Not any more! As usual, Heritage have provided me with exactly the parts I ordered, rather than what I needed. Two indicator units, which are "complete", but don't contain bulb or screws, so I ordered a pair of seals too..... which they DO come with - even though there's no mention of them, or indication in the photos. No attempt made to ask me if I really wanted two sets of course..... Also as usual, lots of parts out of stock. Not the complicated "once in a blue moon stuff" - the basic "put a van back together" stuff Sorry Heritage, you're losing my custom

Hi Richard Sorry if we disappointed you I will share that with our tech team to review the photos and descriptions as the supplier may have changed the spec of the item. Orders are processed automatically so there would not have been any human intervention to check if you needed 2 sets of seals but we will gladly take them back for a refund please use the form here https://www.heritagepartscentre.com/uk/returns There have been considerable supply issues in the last 2 years due to covid and breixt and these are still persisting in some cases even now.

Most parts arrived as ordered but the rocker cover gasket kit did not. Instead, a second expansion bottle cap that was not ordered was charged for.

After several disappointments sourcing good quality original parts from 3rd party vendors, I decided to order from Heritage Parts after seeing the name frequently mentioned on a forum. I ordered online 3 items. The ordering process went smooth and within 1 week received one of the items, the most critical I was wanting, the quality seemed ok but there was no manner to tell where it was manufactured. I called Heritage to enquire about the missing parts and was told they were out of stock and would be sent on when the new stock was in, which I found a little puzzling as the parts were generic and basic and would have expected a reasonable stock to be held by a parts supplier. The lady I spoke to was friendly and polite. The parts did finally arrive about 6 weeks later, and as Heritage advertise genuine parts from the manufacturer's factory in Germany I was somewhat disappointed to see "Made in China" on the product. Not what I was expecting. Heritage has now slipped down my list of potential parts suppliers. Needless to say, I'm not very impressed.

Dear Martin, I can see that Eliot from our Tech team gave you a date of early July back at the beginning of June and we have not met that date. We are sorry for this delay. Good afternoon, I have looked into your order and can see that you ordered a Type-4 1700-2000cc alternator and a Type-1 1200-1600cc pulley wheel. As you have pointed out the two items are not compatible with each other. Unfortunately at this time we don't stock a Type-4 1700-2000cc alternator pulley. Not that great really, the part I needed on your website said two were in stock so placed an order for next day delivery, it didn't arrive. Only to be told you don't have the part in stock, I got a refund and sourced the part for half price on ebay, so will look there in future as you seem very expensive.
