“Hi there, even though I have only recently bought a few small items ( engine and fuel filler sticker) I was supprised that the postage was £4 to 5 for such small items that fit in an envelope. 1st class postage stamps are £1 or just over. So why was I charged such a large amount for posting items that fit in a small envelope. I would totally understand if I bought an item of some weight which commanded a high postage charge. Could someone please explain to me the reason why ? Kind regards Peter @ Epic Germany Autos”

Thanks for the feedback. We have a minimum post and packing charge of £3.95 for orders up to £19.99. As the web ordering system is automated, we are unable to reduce the price based on the size of the items purchased, we can only go by order value.

“This cover was for my daughter's VW camper. It is a very tight fit only just goes under the bumpers. and she is disapointed that there are no under straps.the previous cover had two clipable ones.Good quality and waterproof. .”

“yeah generally good- parts arrived without drama which is nice. Good to see you didn't use Hermes or Yodel; Id rather pay a bit more and have decent couriers/royal mail. Im not sure which part this review is in reference to - my classic part order placed 17/01/2019 hasn't arrived which is disappointing but I was at least forewarned. The other order I made for brake pipes arrived within a couple of days so I guess understandably stock items are processed very promptly. Generally the quality is usually OK, but I have had some shockingly poor things arrive - but VWH refunded no questions and quickly. I always used to think they were a good level or two above Just Kampers in terms of general quality, but they're are edging towards being more parallel now; saving grace is the genuine/classic parts function in the website - this is often the only reason I use VWH now.”

“After initially having a problem with a part on my order, it was resolved amicably with the sales adviser. I pointed out a system flaw that resulted in the wrong part being ordered. Please note the VW parts picture system uses LHD vehicles as their basis and for descriptions of where parts fit. From personal experience, if the picture says the part is for the rhs, it has meant just that. The rhs of a left hand drive vehicle! When ordering, if this has not been corrected, please be savvy and work out which part you need BEFORE placing the order. Better still speak to someone there in technical sales OR get the original part number off the item requiring replacement first.”
