Freight costs from VW Heritage were over 33% of the goods I purchased. One item I wanted was out of stock so I had to purchase that from another supplier and pay another $14 freight on a $20 part.

Thanks for the review. We try and stay as competitive as possible with shipping consignments from the United Kingdom to Australia. It is a vast distance, but typically only takes approx. 5 days to arrive!! We do have approx. 18,000 product lines and can sometimes be out of stock of items.

I'm Michele from Italy, I have already bought from this site and I have to say that you have competitive prices and I have nothing to complain about. You have recently changed the interface with different nationalities: England, Spain, Germany, and so on; The problem is that Italy and other EU states are missing. I do not ask you to create one in Italian, but it would be best to have an EU profile with currency in € and English, to identify yourself better on the site and see if you are eligible for free or no shipping costs, over 100 euros or other promotions Thanks, I hope that the request will be heard. Ok so ordered a pair of J tubes and a new master cylinder. When I get my package tge J tubes tinware brakcets are bent and twisted around the tubes and the ends that fit into the header were bent and distorted not very happy but straightened them and fitted because we wanted to run the engine. I think if the box was better padded there would have been no problem.

Bored unhelpful staff on phone, hard to navigate website. Can't tell if correct part until arrives. Wouldn't use except only supplier of some t2 parts.

Sorry if you've had a bad experience? Obviously I'm not sure what the situation was when you called, the website has now been changed and navigation is much better than it was on the old site.

Well I was happy that I got help with my parts as I was unsure what to get and I have always had great service. But today I had a email saying that my parts chould not be delivered to my house even tho I left a note when you order the items saying please deliver to a garage opposite where I live and they whernt so not very happy I have emailed about the issue now just waiting to here back

The website is very comprehensive and I found the two items I needed very easily. However it said that orders placed before 3pm had next day delivery. When I placed my order at 2.55, there was no option for next day delivery and my items are now not due to arrive until Monday, 4 days after I ordered them.

They haven't yet. Not until I actually receive the goods I ordered. However, what astounds me is that VW Heritage does not appear to provide any crankcase thermostats that connect to the cooling flaps on Aircooled 2.0 litre Type 4 engines. These are an essential item required for the correct running of these engines. I couldn't find them on the website. If you do actually sell them please let me know as I'm awaiting these items from USA.

They didn't , it clearly stated that "large panels" where free to my location in delivery section. The small print did state that this could be changed dependant on part . I thought I'd thiugth be ok buying a mk1 lower door repair panel it's not that large is it? . Guess what £8.50 delivery ( my total order was over £35 for claimed "free delivery" ). VW heritage do stock a lot of good stuff but in all my dealings with them I feel they are out to screw me over in some way, luring me in with broken promises of free delivery . It has got to the stage where I shop around others and would even use Werk in Germany, autohaus in Us because their flat rate delivery (to UK) is actually cheaper than heritage . I also go direct to vw for my classic parts.

Every time I buy somethink (more than 100€, and no big articles), I have to pay the postage and after this demand the pay back about these postage costs.... Luis (Spain sales asistant) helps me every time..... But is not really nice to have to do it.... Thanks and regards.

Thanks for taking the time to review us. It looks like you placed your order on the Bank Holiday Monday just after Easter when we were closed. I can see your order was processed on the Tuesday when we returned to work. The FOC carriage option you had chosen is a 2-3 day service, so your order should arrive on Friday. We do also offer a next working day service if items are needed quickly in future.

Ordered a number of items one of which was out of stock. Approx 6 weeks went by and no sign so checked the website and found the outstanding item was now back in stock but down to last few. I immediately called to be told it was fully paid for and would be dispatched shortly no explanation as to why it wasn't dispatched as soon as it came back in stock. Next working day received an email stating it had been paid for and would need to be before it could be dispatched. Staff spoken to were very helpful although misinformed by one, not impressed that I had to check stock expected this to have been an automated process

Thanks for taking the time to review us. It looks like the out of stock item arrived just before the Easter break so wasn't booked in and allocated to your order until we arrived back on the Tuesday. When the order was placed, funds are allocated for the complete order, but we only charge for in stock items at the time. Sorry for any confusion.

Thanks for taking the time to review us. Sorry about the delay with your web order delivery, it looks like when you placed the order you didn't input your full address only a house number and a postcode? This may have contributed to the slight delay.
