When I first ordered, the system added several items I didn't order, or payed for. but that was solved quickly. I ordered the 2 products in mid May, was told to get my stuff in late July. Later told to get it in August, but ended up getting 1 part in middle of October. The package seemed to be allright, but my plan to renovate my VW bus during the summer months didn't work. Still hasn't got 1 stuff left on the order and it's now November.

Hi Jonas I am sorry to hear your plan to renovate during the summer was unsuccessful. The item on your order had a very long lead time from our manufacturer - it is a special item order we don't keep in stock and order direct when customers request to buy it. I am very sorry our lead time was longer than anticipated when you ordered.

It is a huge shame that the shop is no longer open. The guys from counter were unbelievably helpful and incredibly useful for finding the exact part even if it wasn't in stock from yourselves. Now the phone lines are closed which makes things even less helpful for myself. Enquiries via email were not helpful at all.

Hi Harry The decision to close our shop was due to a huge decrease in footfall further to COVID-19. Please do email us with any technical queries or vehicle advice, our team respond to customers within 2 hours during UK working hours Monday to Friday. I can see that my colleague replied to your last enquiry and unfortunately the part you required is no longer stocked. If you have any further enquiries please do not hesitate to email us.

The service was quite acceptable, shipping was quick, unfortunately the parts, sliding door rollers, were of poor quality. After installation the parts worked well, but very quickly the main nylon rollers wore out and will need to be replaced again after only a few days of use. Very disappointing.

Not being a mechanic, and trying to find what’s needed for my build is sometimes a struggle without the help of a person on the end of phone / counter , to the point I’m mainly using other means of purchasing parts needed ,elsewhere, rather than yourselves, Shame really ,seeing as I live 5 miles away only my opinion but think , Lack of having a counter to come purchase and get advice,if needed isn’t the way forward . Hi Arvind I am sorry for the delay with your order, I know my colleague has been in touch with you about delivery. As she stated, if the goods do not arrive within the timeframe Royal Mail gave us we will send a replacement order on a tracked service to you.

Dissapointing. My order was short even though the parts showed as in stock. The part that did turn up looked like it had been opened before. Probably a return.

Hi Timothy I am sorry for the issues you've experienced. Sometimes, when stock is low other customers can beat you to the part I am afraid. We also do open part packaging from time to time to check that the suppliers have sent the correct products but I can see that it would look that way. I hope you continue to shop Heritage.

All good Apart from not being able to call you as a business, and have a conversation, Called air cooled on a hope I could talk to someone, a person picked up the phone and had a conversation with me I bought the part , and more . That has to be your way forward. I don’t mean to sound belligerent . But it’s so frustrating. Otherwise good service.

I made a mistake. I ordered the incorrect parts. I contacted them. I got the parts. I'm stuck with them and out $50. I may use them again. They do have a lot of parts that are hard to find. Delivery was very timely but expensive to the USA.

The parts are fine, have been using Heritage for over 30 years and spent thousands with them. Their current partnership with DHL leave a little to be desired a standard delivery took over a week from time of order. Heritage did very little to aid the situation all rather disappointing.

My name is Adam Coleman Hi I ordered 2 mirrors for a Vw type 2 back last year. I got sent 2 right mirrors ( if you are looking at the van from the outside) and decided to keep both and order a left mirror. I then ordered what I thought was a left mirror and I got another right mirror I then questioned it and got a part number in consultation with you guys having sent over pictures of what I had already received for a left mirror and ordered it and I got another left mirror. I now have 3 left mirrors and no right mirror? I then asked through email could I send 2 of these back to you and get a right mirror and where do I send them and what is the process, over a week later I have heard nothing? I need to get this sorted and will do what I can to make it happen please reach out and let me know the process to sort it out please

A month after placing my order for supposedly in-stock items, I am still awaiting the dispatch of a distributor cap. My poor VW beetle is gamely struggling on but is in dire need. A lack of information about my order and its status is a further issue. Having used Heritage many times in the past with excellent service, this experience is not only painful but shockingly unexpected.

Desperately needed the part next fay as the customer was going on holiday.Paid the eye watering next day delivery and the part didn't turn up.Postage was refunded so all good in the end apart from.moaning customer

Item was very poorly packaged and damaged upon arrival. The whole process of trying to resolve the problem was painful... After sales service was extremely poor and communication on their part was awful.

Hi Keith Sorry your part got damaged in transit and sorry the collection was delayed. Sometimes things do go wrong but we do our utmost to fix them. I can see it's all been resolved now but apologies again hands up we dropped the ball.
