“I purchached a SSP steering wheel, hub, horn button kit along with several other parts for my Bay bus. I installed steering wheel and have about a half inch of clearance to factory turn switch lever. This is obviously a manufacturing mistake as your hand hits the turn switch while turning. I was told to send photos of the issue and did that. Then I was told I had to pay return shipping cost. THAT IS BAD BUSINESS as it was nothing that was installed wrong and is not drivable. I own a VW / PORSCHE repair shop in the USA and have 45 years experience with these cars. I would never do business with Heritage again for not correcting this issue. Hopefully no one else buys this same part as they will be disappointed in the result. BUYER BEWARE!!”

Hi Randy, sorry to hear of your issues with this wheel. I can see our team replied to your enquiry assuring you this was the correct product. I cannot attach the image to my reply on this platform, but we have emailed you a photo of this item fitted to one of our team members 1968 T2, which is also a LHD US vehicle, if you need some advice on fitment please contact one of our team.

“È andato tutto bene, ancora una volta, questo è l'ultimo dei tanti acquisti fatti su Heritage da parte mia per il mio veicolo, i prodotti che ho acquistato sono conformi a quanto descritto nell'inserzione che compare su Heritage, i prodotti ritengo abbiano un prezzo valido e per la spedizione non ho dovuto aspettare nemmeno tanto tempo. Mi piacerebbe che su Heritage fosse creato un modo per poter interagire con i magazzinieri in modo più rapido e diretto, quando si pone qualche incertezza sul ricambio da acquistare e servirebbe un consiglio da chi, come loro, hanno già competenza e possono chiarire eventuali dubbi.”
