“I have been buying parts for my T4 from Heritage Parts Centre for a while and have always been more than happy with the quality of the items they sell. However my recent experience when my order clearly got confused in their dispatch department and I received an other customer's parts under my order reference highlighted to me the short comings of Heritage's recent policy change to discontinue any opportunities to speak to a member of their team on the phone for any purpose. The problem could only be resolved by a succession of emails to and forth and it is a credit to the several individuals involved at Heritage that it was sorted out well by them after several emails in both directions. But the inability to have any verbal communication whatsoever I now regard as a shortcoming of Heritage Parts Centre, which will make me think twice about ordering again which is a pity. I am the owner of several different types of classic/enthusiast cars and regard the knowledge of and access to the people who work in the parts supply business as an important part of the Classic Car Community. Unfortunately because Heritage Parts Centre have now decided to prevent the opportunity for any personal contact with customers, my preference is to look to alternative suppliers where it is still possible to speak to someone if you need to.”
