Hi John, sorry to hear this. I can see that you ordered a Special Order item - these are items that we do not keep in stock as they are ordered direct from the manufacturer for you. The reason for this is the lead time and in this case, specialized products.

“I was a little disappointed in this transaction. I asked about the details of this lens to make sure it would fit my car and all I got in response was copied from the description available on the part page. No measurements nothing more than I could see by looking on the web page. This states, not for cabriolet models with clipper kit or mk2 golf with big bumpers. I have a mk1. Should fit. Vehicle match is Rabbit Mk1. That's what I have. I decide to give it a shot and purchase the lense. The description says "unit of sale each" so I buy two one for the left and one for the right. What I receive is two sets of lenses that don't fit. Return shipping is over $100 I spent over $100 originally. (I'm in the USA) so now I'm out over $200 for lenses that dont fit my car.”

“Cant be trusted poor communication, promote discount codes which cant be used At least with other suppliers of AirCooled parts you can actually speak to someone on the telephone and give you advice”

Hi Rob, sorry to hear your feedback here. I can see from our email traffic that there was an issue with a missed discount code; but after the period of the code had expired the promotion then carried on and went into the full Black Friday discount which was a website-wide discount. As we advised on email, sometimes these emails can fall into junk folders but there was no detrimental effect for you, there was still discount on the website prices for Black Friday for you to utilize.

“I thought the service was good, the only thing that annoyed me somewhat was getting an email the next day advertising 20% black Friday sale, as it turns out I don't require any more parts and could have delayed my order had I realised black Friday sales were imminent. Regards Greg”

“Courier used was not efficient at delivery,never had a problem before.There was damage to one of the parts but I was able to bend the part back into shape.First time I've had a damaged part from Heritage.”
