Apologies for the error. It looks like we have been miss-supplied by our supplier. If you can contact our customer service department on customerservice@vwheritage.com they will organise either a replacement or a refund.

Golf Mk 1 cab door cappings I ordered were different to the photo on your website, so did not match my car. I then saw VWH had them advertised on Ebay, made a note of the stock no. and took photos of door cappings on my car which my son in law discussed with staff he knows at VWH and was assured you have them, so ordered. Cappings arrived, still incorrect and same as before, so had to phone VWH, arrange collection and was told by Alan it would be looked into and you would get back to me, that was weeks ago and I'm still waiting!!! Have spoken to 4 staff at VWH re this advising you that you are advertising the wrong product as your photos don't match the product you send. I've now sourced via Mk 1 owners club who are increasingly saying use VWH as last resort due to poor customer service and use Classic VW, WERK 34, German Ebay, Volks Magic instead. Really poor service for a customer who is Sussex born and bred and has already purchased several hundred pounds worth from you. Don't get complacent VWH, you're not the only supplier out there.

I paid for next day delivery but came the day after. Emailed customer service explaining this & asked for refund on extra cost of post, unfortunately absolutely no response! This was 2 weeks ago.

Ordered two items during the alleged 24% day. Having read the caveats listed and not seeing any markers for items allready subject to a promotion I ordered my parts. No discount on one and 10% on the other. Did an online chat and asked what was or wasn't on the list of items not subject to the discount. NEVER GOT A REPLY. Looks pretty much like a come on and not a genuine offer.

I placed an order and all of the items were listed as in stock. Two days later I receive my order, only to find an item missing. I contact them and was told that the missing item was out of stock at the time. How was they out of stock when I made sure all of the items were in stock? I would have ordered from somewhere else had I known they were out of stock.

Bought a few items which were all shown as in stock. Order split into two parcels and billed a day later for the items that were supposed to be in stock. Received half of my order and had to contact them to ask why part of my order was missing and was just told that they were out of stock at the time even though their website listed all the items as in stock. If I knew they were out of stock I would have ordered them from elsewhere.

Thanks for taking the time to review. Apologies for the issues concerning stock, which led to us not being able to fulfil your order. we very rarely have issues like this, but this was sadly one instance.

Ordered two hose clips with a hose they kept unthreading and so I had to remove hose and reuse existing clips .Doubled the length of the job.As it cost me £30plus for a 6 inch length of hose and two clips I would have expected better. Not happy !

We are sorry you feel mislead, its definitely not our intension. Our website does have a countdown timer at the top left, showing how many hours are left before your order, if you decide to place it, is available if next day delivery is required.

Bought a service kit for 1700-2000 engines for £129.95 and it was not stated on website, but this was for the air cooled and not waterboxer. I bought in genuine error but have to pay the cost to send back to VW heritage so out of pocket through no fault of my own Not Happy

I was mislead about who I was purchasing from with this purchase. I was emailed from an Australian outlet called "VW Heritage Australia" then lead to their website with Australian contact phone number. Also, this items were listed in AU currency with free delivery and invoice included taxs. Also items were listed as "in stock". How you managed to trick me into thinking I was buying within Australia yet try to transfer responsibility pf being the importer onto me. This is exactly what I didn't want and is why I wanted to buy an Australian based retail outlet which I thought "VW Heritate Australia" was! You total tricked me and now trying to make me pay your import duties. You deserved to be called out on this publicly pn every VW website in Australia!

Hello, we are sorry to hear that you feel we have misled you, this was obviously not our intention. We do state on our website that all of our parts are shipped directly from the UK with free shipping for orders over $250.00 AUD and do also state that any import duties are to be researched and paid for by the receiver. We use an Australian phone number to limit the cost in contacting us, this is charged at your local rate. We advertise and take payment in Australian Dollars to make it easier for our customers to make a purchase. We have recently had a huge percentage of very satisfied Australian customers who have received their orders in typically 4-5 working days from the UK, utilizing our free shipping offer.

I ordered a twin carb kit and balancing kit for my twin port engine - received a single port one. Picked up correct twin port carb kit from Shoreham, but balancing kit was missing a part. Received the part, and went on to installation. The gaskets didn't fit - threw them away. Then had to drill holes in manifolds for balancing kit - provided fittings were massively oversized and not fit for purpose, had to buy alternatives. Very unhappy with the kits provided and the inconsistent advice given by VW Heritage to myself and the mechanic who is doing all the engineering work. I went to VW Heritage because I had the perception that they were a more professional outfit than JustKampers - i have now revised my opinion. I have missed most of the summer with my van now - what should have taken a couple of days at most to do, has taken nearly two months.

Extremely poor service. Unable to exclude the VAT for overseas buyer. Unable to tell what is the shipping cost to HK The photo I share via live chat, staffs cannot see it, in need to email to them..... Amazing and so funny

Ordered crossmember (displayed in stock) on Tuesday morning, not dispatched until Thursday PM. Still not arrived (5 days later), 2 calls to customer services/sales with assurances that I would be contacted with tracking info or an update however no - one has been in touch. Don't like to leave negative feedback, and I can understand that things go wrong sometimes with delivery but poor or no communication is tricky to accept.

I ordered an exhaust bundle for my 1965 VW Splitsceen and paid an additional £6 for next day delivery as I required this delivered and duly fitted for the weekend. I took a day off work to wait for delivery and booked a late afternoon slot in with my garage to facilitate fitting etc. At 3pm no sign of exhaust and I then rang to find out why only to be told that you don't do next day delivery to Northern Ireland (only 2 day delivery) and it would be Monday before I received the exhaust. As if that wasn't bad enough apparently 0920hrs order on the Thursday actually doesn't secure a two day delivery as if it did it would be with me Sat but I have been told it will now be Monday. Next day delivery money refunded promptly but doesn't refund my lost days leave. Very very disappointment that a company such as yours (one I have been happy with in the past) could let me down so badly. My weekend is now also ruined as without exhaust which garage could've patched had they known but know don't have time as they close at 5pm. NOT HAPPY !

I was unable to use the checkout button on my phone, laptop using safari or google chrome. I therefore had to use PayPal. I don't know whether this was a fault with your website.
