“The wiper assembly is of surprisingly good quality and a lot of effort has gone into getting it right, I think its well worth the price. However, two small issues, something to note is the centre distance of the 'main drive' arm thats attached to the motor, as upon completing my installation I found that the sweep of the blades was at least 50mm to much with the wipers travelling down the bonnet and on the return, hitting the side of the screen. Upon swapping over to my old drive arm, the correct sweep arc of the blades was restored. The two drive arms at first 'looked' exactly the same, but centre distance errors of up to 1mm in this area will dramatically alter the distance through which the pipers sweep. Issue 2, the tapered locating hole in the new/supplied drive arm is soo badly made that is didn't locate on the motor drive taper more than 1mm, it was literally just starting on the tapered spline and was locked up in that position. Something that I think needs to be sorted out as the mounting hole geometry on my old drive arm is in a different league quality wise. All in all, the wiper motor and assembly is very well made but the output arm fitted to the motor really lets it down with two major problems...”
